We are seeking highly qualified candidates committed to
human rights and social justice with records of scholarship
and research that support an urban social work agenda. The
faculty position will be filled by a person with expertise youth
development and social work practice with high-risk urban
families to teach in the Clinical Concentration. Appointments
will be at the rank of assistant professor. Applicants should have
a record of demonstrated scholarship and research directly
related youth development and high-risk urban families as well
as at least two years post master’s evidence-based social work
practice experience. Appointees may be based at the School’s
Westchester or Lincoln Center campuses. Qualifications for
these positions are an MSW and a doctorate in social work or
related discipline. Salary is commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications
for a 9-month tenure track faculty position at the Assistant
Professor level, beginning Fall 2012. The ideal candidate is a
physical therapist eligible for licensure in Massachusetts with
an earned academic doctorate in a relevant field. We are
seeking a faculty member with expertise in foundational
sciences (biomechanics, neuroanatomy, anatomy) or professional
practice issues (health policy, management and professionalism).
The primary responsibilities include scholarly activity, student
advisement and mentorship, and service to the School and
College. The candidate should have a history of clinical
practice and a record of scholarship.

an area germane to physical activity and health. The position is defined as
a nine-month, tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate
Professor in Kinesiology and Community Health. Candidate must have a
doctoral degree in kinesiology, public health, or a related field. Background
in physical activity and health required. The successful candidate will be
expected to develop and maintain an externally funded research agenda.
