The University of San Francisco (USF), a premier Jesuit, Catholic, urban University located in San
Francisco, CA, seeks applications and nominations for a Dean of the School of Management who will
take the School of Management to a new level of visibility, distinction, and excellence in the San
Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
USF is recognized nationally and internationally as a premier Jesuit, Catholic, urban University with

excellence, community partnership, and service to students. The School of Management and the

Clover Park Technical College is poised to move to an even higher level of
success in technical education, building on advances which have been led
over the past seven years by President John Walstrum -- who is retiring.
The College seeks a leader who will, among other things, further develop
a shared vision that values cutting-edge methods to deliver high-quality
education and support.
CPTC has established itself as a regional leader in providing technical
training, offering at least 44 certificate and associate degree programs.
The College has been approved to start offering a Bachelor of Science in
Manufacturing Operations, and is moving to do so. Additionally, the College
is in the second year as a participating college in “Achieving the Dream,”
seeing progress as aspects of that program prepare to scale up. Through
consortiums, the College participates in several Department of Labor grants
in STEM and Aerospace-related fields.
The College has 275 full and part-time faculty, 171 non-faculty staff and over
4,561 FTE (7,512 headcount) students. From both beautiful campuses one

Sciences facility and a new “College Green” open space in the heart of the
campus are nearing completion. Lakewood is part of the Tacoma-Seattle
