Springfield College is accepting applications for the position
of Director of Health Services. The Director is a member of
the senior leadership team of the Division of Student Affairs
and is responsible for providing leadership for the department
and providing quality health care services to students through
the planning and administration of all aspects of the health
care program. Responsibilities include: serving as the focal
point for promoting creative college-wide health services with
emphasis on being an administrator, health educator, and health
care professional providing direct patient care; planning and
administering all aspects of college health care services; ensuring
health education is provided for students; collaborating with
other departments across campus to offer health care services and
education including but not limited to, counseling center, campus
recreation and athletics, partnering with counseling services and
serving as a member of the college behavioral intervention team.
The successful candidate will also maintain departmental budget,
hire staff, verify licensure and credentials, and supervise health care.
Qualifications include: Must be an experienced health services
delivery professional such as a nurse practitioner, physician
assistant, or related credential, with a strong background in clinical
management and ability to write prescriptions. Also, related
Bachelor’s degree and appropriate advanced or professional degree
with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Should also
have a solid understanding of college student health care issues and
exhibit a desire to work with students. Excellent organizational
and administrative abilities; effective writing and oral skills; and
compatibility with an environment conducive to teamwork and
collegiality are essential.

The Chancellor of the Nebraska State College System invites applications
for the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning and Partnerships.
The position reports directly to the Chancellor and is an integral part of the
Chancellor’s staff.
The Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning and Partnerships (VCAAP)
identifies and plans for new academic programs. The VCAAP engages and
collaborates with the leadership at the Colleges and in business, industry,
education and state and local government to build outreach programs and
to create appropriate and effective partnerships. The Vice Chancellor also
serves as a change agent for academic program growth and innovation,
especially related to the creation of external and internal partnerships.
Substantial travel to Colleges and throughout the service regions is
expected.
The VCAAP provides academic support to the Academic and Personnel
committee of the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor and the Council of
Presidents.
The Vice Chancellor should possess a terminal degree with significant
background or understanding in areas such as partnerships, business,
education, management, curriculum, technology, cutting edge innovation
and related issues for the performance of the responsibilities of this
position

Center. This position provides leadership for the Student*University

Administration, Student Personnel, Business or related field is
preferred, in addition to prior experience in personnel management

management, strategic planning and outcome-driven assessment
efforts and experience working with student groups.
